Family owned and operated, Shantz Landscapes is a small business focused on providing quality excavation and landscapes. Founded in 1998 by Murray Shantz, the business is now run by his sons, Dan and Mike.

As a family owned and operated business it is our goal to use the values and morals of our heritage to build landscapes and relationships that will stand the test of time.

We are well equipped for landscape projects that require earth moving such as retaining walls, concrete prep, regrading and leveling, and a variety of other tasks. Our team finds satisfaction in a job well done. We do general excavation and trenching, etc., as well as tough jobs with tight access of other specific requirements. Excavators equipped with tilt-rotators enable the bucket to tilt as well as spin 360′ allow our operators exceptional performance and maneuverability. We own dump trucks ranging from triaxle to single axle allowing control and flexibility to our jobsites.

Our broad scope of work and vast experience gives us a wealth of knowledge to be able to give practical solutions to meet your specific landscape, drainage, or dirt moving projects. Our specialty is excavation through to hardscape and lawn completion, and we can network with other contractors for concrete pours, softscapes and bed planting.
